Krenz opened the door to a cozy room. It had 2 nice couches with a nice funky foreign looking coffee table, it looked as though he had gotten the coffee table off of some interesting commerce planet. He clicked on one of his lamps.
"I hope you find it comfortable."

Kiwi walked into the room and looked for anything that was trying to make the place homey "It looks like a man's house for sure.....HEY!!! How come one of your lamps work? I thought the power was out?" She curiously walked over to the lamp, detaching herself from Ruhk. "Does it have its own energy supply and doesn't feed from Eastern Gate's?"

((ooc: yay for pointing out plot holes! Do try to pay more attention to the area you’re rping in Krenz.))
“Must be battery powered, though that would be terribly inefficient. I mean it would make sense for me to have one since I’m never in the same spot for long, but even I think they’re stupid.” Ruhk casually mentioned as he looked around the room. As he looked around, his wings stayed rather flat against his back. It didn’t take long before he heavily sighed and kneeled next to lamp.
“I take it you must not be in here all that often, otherwise I’d be slightly worried that you like smelling… stagnant.” He took one of the many small vials from the chain around his waist and sprinkled the powder inside on the top of the lamp. Within seconds the room took on a light smell similar to that of a forest after a rainfall. Nothing very strong, but very light and fresh. “Plus it wards away spirits with ill-intentions!”

"Yes that lamp has it's own special supply of something you'd call a power pack, more efficient then a battery. It'll be the only source of light working in here." He headed into the kitchen. "I picked up that lamp on commerce planet where I vacationed. And yeah Ruhk, I'm not in here that often cuz I just moved in you know. I've been exploring around eastern gate, catching up on what I missed."
He pulled out some aprins while chuckling, holding them outward. "So what do you say we start showing each other some of our special dishes, ay?" Krenz said smiling enthusiastically.

She took a deep breath, closed her eyes and smelled the scent of water "Mmmm that is nice. I might have to buy some of those from you. My place smells like 50 year old sweat. Ugh." She shuddered even thinking about, one good thing about moving to a new Gate would be the slightly new rooms. She looks at the aprons Krenz was holding out, "Pfff please I don't need one of those. I love to get down and dirty." She smirked and headed off to the kitchen.

Ruhk peered at the aprons for a few seconds before walking past Krenz into the kitchen without taking one. “It’s not like I’m some little kid who can’t mix in the bowl, and I don’t intend to make anything that spittles, so I don’t see a point for those.” By the time he got to Kiwi, Ruhk had already pulled out a half dozen packages from various locations under his clothes. “So is there something we’re supposed to make? Or just anything? And do we get full access to your stores?”

"You can go ahead and access whatever you'd like in the kitchen." Krenz said. Hey why not? He though to himself might as well have some fun. He began to stir up some special types of drinks in several pitchers that he learned how to make on certain commerce planets.

She leaned against one of counters but walked closer to Ruhk once he pulled out the packages. "What do you have in there?" She said trying to look over Ruhk's shoulder to see what the packages were. "I don't really care what we make, as long as its yummy."

“Well if Krenz-y baby is taking care of drinks, I’ll make something sweet. That leaves you, Kiwi honey, to make something to snack on.” Ruhk grinned and began to look through Krenz’s kitchen to find what he was looking for. Kiwi’s questions about the small packets and the unknown amount of other things hidden on his person was happily, and quite obviously, ignored.
After searching just about every corner of the small room, Ruhk unloaded the various ingredients he had taken onto the counter along with the packets he had taken out earlier. “I hope neither of you are allergic to anything in Maroo.”

"I don't have any allergies as far as I know." Krenz said, responding to Ruhk.
"I certainly have many choices of things you can make." Krenz smiled. "Go ahead Kiwi, don't be afraid to have a look around to find what you need." Krenz said pleasantly. This cooking idea sure brought the good out of him.

Kiwi turned around and began looking through Krenz's cupboards to find anything eatable but quickly turned around once she heard Ruhk ask about Maroo, "Did you just say Maroo? I haven't had that in forever! It is so amazing!" She jokingly glared at Ruhk "You better make it or something bad is going to happen right now."

Ruhk giggled at Kiwi and proudly displayed the half finished Maroo sittin ghte bottom of a bowl he had dug out of Krenz’s cupboards. “It’s not like I could actually cook anything witht the power being out and all. Plus with only that one lamp it’s not exactly easy to be extremely precise. So Maroo seemed like a good idea.” The strange mixture, which was currently very brown and very lumpy, seemed to pulse happily in response. Ruhk shot it a quick glare then poured another packet of something-or-other from up his sleeve on the mixture. With a shudder and a gurgling noise the mixture flattened and ceased moving, Ruhk happily resumed fluttering his wings and grinning, acting like nothing had happened.
“So what are you two making with all the limitations we have?”

"I'm mixing up 2 different types of alcoholic punch drinks I learned how to make on the last commerce planet I went to.” He stopped mixing them for a second to think deeply and carefully.
“Aww man, and I forgot what they were called too. One was Elve... and the other was...was...I dunno..., somebody taught me how to make them. A cook on the last commerce planet I went to taught me how to make them, to be precise. They both have an amazing taste to them; you’ve just got to try them.” Krenz said excitedly.

With all of the cabinets open, Kiwi shrugged "Doesn't really look like there is anything in this house that you can make without some sort of electrical thingie." She turned around to look over to Ruhk. She smiled and walked over to him, leaning against the counter, "Though I am sure I can make something really good with some of those magical bags you have inside those pockets." She scooted closer to Ruhk, "Or will I have to get them myself?" She grinned and began to lean closer to him.

Ruhk grinned and held the packets in his hands behind his back and leaned closer to Kiwi as well. “I’d like to see you try.” He stopped with his face barely an inch away from hers, his usual grin back on flirty mode. “Though are you sure you want to wrestle them away from me with an audience?” His eyes flashed briefly towards Krenz before closing the gap a touch further, still just far enough away. At some point during the motion, his hands had made their way to the counter on either side of Kiwi, trapping her in that location.
