Lens wandered through the front door and up to the main bar.
He sat down and looked around "barkeep? milk!"

Mirror a mental note that Lens had entered the bar, but made no move to serve him anything. It was during one of the daily rushes, so technically one of her many cousins were helping her work the bar, but if Mirror wouldn’t serve him, then he probably shouldn’t either. Pff, not a hello, just an’ order. Well fuck ‘im, I dun’ have to serve anyone anything’

Lens noticed the barperson and moved over closer.
"Hi, I'm Lens" he said while extending his hand.

Mirror raised an eyebrow as she gave Lens half a glance. “Listen kid, go home ta’ yer’ mommy if ya’ want something like that.” With that, Mirror turned back to a different customer and resumed her conversation, she had, evilly enough, been talking about the stupidity of the new government lackeys.

Lens looked over at her again grinning, "hmmmmm, no milk eh? Oh well"
After sitting down for a moment to think, he asked "Do you have anything non-alcoholic at all?".

“Yer’ in a bar durin’ happy hour. Ya’ think I want kids hangin’ ‘round here?” Mirror shot one last glare at Lens before stalking further off. Her encounter with the delivery girl this morning had thrown her entire day off.

Lens sighed loudly "No milk or non-alcoholic drinks eh; ah well. What would you recommend then?". he queried "Nothing too strong tho."
He smiled over at her "I'm also rather new here; I could use some general information on the area and its inhabitants"

Mirror sighed, gave him one last glare before deciding he must be really stupid. “Listen, I dun’ serve alcohol ta’ kids, an’ yer’ a government dog. I dun’ give info out ta’ jus’ anyone, go ta’ yer’ base an’ talk sweet ta’ Dust if ye’ want info.”

Lens exclaimed "But, I'm not a kid", while he showed his ID card to her. Grey letters streamed across the bottom; indicating that he was over drinking age.
"you look younger than me anyway" he said grinning.
"As to the information; perhaps I could make it worth your time" Lens taped his Credits suggestingly.

“And it is a good thing that you check IDs of ones who appear so young.” Anthong had entered the bar quietly and took a seat near Lens. “Ms. Mirror, would you like to check mine before you offer me another of your unique brews? I realize from watching others that you do not take orders, but something light if you would please. Your last wine was more potent than I usually prefer.”
Anthong smiled at Lens. “Pardon me for interrupting young sir. My name is Anthong Sin and I too am a ‘Government dog.’” His face returned to its accustomed poker neutral. “You should be glad that I am off duty.”

Mirror shot a glare at Anthong before putting a glass of a milky, caramel colored liquid in front of each of them. “If etiher of ya’ think yer’ gettin’ info from me, ya’ can jus’ leave now. Yer the ones with all those fancy-shamancy ‘puters, go fin’ info that way.”

Lens sniffed at the drink experimentally before drinking it in one gulp "ewwww, what was that?" he exclaimed
"but, it's funner to pump you for info and it's not like I'm after anything too detailed really; rignt now anyway" Lens said grinning widely "Anyway I'm Lens, what's your name?" Lens extended his hand to her.

Anthong stared at Lens a moment, and then turned to Mirror with a smirk. “Thank you,” he complimented and raised his drink. He took a small sip and swished it around in his mouth silently before swallowing. “Hmm. Is this fermented milk? I cannot say I recognize it. Martian goats? It would be a luxury…”
Anthong mused thoughtfully, taking another sip. “You would not hurt me so by thinking I would require information from you Ms. Mirror. I may still be waiting for your ID, but I am just here on a social call. Your brews unfairly tempt me.”

Dusty had gotten off of work and began wandering towards Mirror's Tavern, she needed to know if she had said anything stupid or if Mirror had offered to help her in anyway. She pushed open the door and saw the Tavern was overloading with customers. Which was not a surprise since it was later in the day and this was the place to come if you just wanted to relax and be with friends. She walked closer to the bar saying "excuse me" and eventually pushing her way through the crowd that was gathered around it.
She finally spotted her in front of Anthong and the new recruit she had met yesterday. She walked over and slightly smiled at Mirror, "Hello again Mirror." She looked down at Anthong, who was sitting at her right and said "Would you mind if I sat next to you Mr. Sin?"

“It’s not milk o’ any sort pretty boy, an’ if ya’ want ta’ play wit’ me I’ll ‘ave ta’ ask ya’ ta’ leave. I dun’ ’ave to serve anyone.” Mirror glared at the two men before turning to Dusty with a forced smile. “Back ta’ get some more Devil’s spit Dust?”
